Dr. Lauren v. Fernandez
Dr. Fernandez was born and raised in Fresno and attended undergrad at Fresno State, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in 2019. After optometry school, she did her residency training in Primary Care Eye Care, Low Vision, and Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation within the VA Long Beach Healthcare System.
Since returning to the Central Valley, Dr. Fernandez has volunteered with the low vision clinic at the nonprofit organization Valley Center for the Blind and has also served on their Board of Directors. She is an active member of the California Optometric Association and is a current Board Member with the Central California Optometric Society.
Dr. Fernandez enjoys movies, music, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
